Kids Dig It! Archaeological Family Fun

Join us at the Abbey Museum for four days of family fun and learn about the role archaeology plays in uncovering the stories of human history.
•Try their hand at Archery
•Undertake an archaeological excavation
•Make their own Babylonian Cuneiform tablet
•Discover how archaeology works outside excavations, including coin identification, tree ring analysis and Coprolite investigations.
•Play a selection of games from around the world.
•Enjoy arts and craft activities inside the Museum.
Doors open at 9:30am for activities to start at 10:00am.
Scheduled Activities require booking for session times. Session times can be selected when purchasing tickets (please scroll down to “Add-ons” section). Please take care when booking session times. Refunds will not be issued for booking errors.
Each child entry ticket includes admission for one adult. Any additional adults will require a ticket. Adults can assist their children with activities, Adults are not required to book for additional activities themselves.
The Mobile Daily Grind local coffee cart will be available on site from 11am – 1pm daily with cakes, slices, sandwiches and delicious cups of coffee to buy.
