Building Funds for the Art Gallery Project
Due to a lack of suitable exhibition space the Abbey Museum has not been able to display these wonderful works of art. We are committed to making them publicly accessible and improving our facilities including provision of toilets and a café to enhance the visitor experience. We have been working with our supporters to raise funds towards this significant project.
There are many demands on our limited resources and we need the publics support to complete our fundraising and successfully deliver this exciting new initiative at the Museum.
We have been extremely fortunate in securing support from the Queensland State Government towards the new gallery construction, but we need to raise additional funds to complete this project, secure the final gallery fit out and the conservation of paintings for display.
