Mummification DIY Incursion

This interactive workshop will take students through the process of Ancient Egyptian mummification.

A student will be selected as a pharaoh who tragically lost their life at a young age. Together, students and the presenter will follow the known steps to mummify the pharaoh including:

• Removing the brain and other organs
• Placing amulets on the body
• Wrapping the body
• Preparing the tomb

Please note – the pharaoh will be unharmed throughout the process.

Cost

• Presentation: Minimum cost $550 for up to 100 students, plus $5.50 per student over 100 students. (For example, 121 students would be $665.50, $550 as base price and $115.50 for the additional 21 students)
• Travel (over 50kms): $0.80 per km
• Accommodation (over 100kms): $150 per night
