Friends Presentation – ‘Phoenician Sonnets – Mediterranean mysteries along ancient trading routes.’ by Stephen Stockwell

Commencing with some Phoenician objects in the Abbey’s collection, this talk will share images of Phoenician material culture and sites gathered in travels along their ancient trading routes around the Mediterranean.
Why not come a little earlier and visit the Museum to see the collections of coins, sculpture, glass, stained glass, ceramics, carvings, lacquerware, prehistoric stone and bone tools, illuminated manuscripts and rare books.
