European Works of Art (14th-19th century)
While not currently on display (the Museum is presently raising funds for an art gallery) the Renaissance and Baroque works of art are one of the most significant aspects of the Museum’s collections. John Ward acquired the majority of these paintings from dealers in London from 1930 to 1934. A number of early icons were acquired in Cyprus.
