Much mystery shrouds medicine in the Ancient and Medieval times. This very interesting and educational talk by Dr Michelle Barton will focus on how we can try to interpret what was actually performed and used in medieval medicine and surgery.

Dr Michelle Barton is a veterinarian and medieval re-enactor with a passion for medicine, surgery and history. Dr Barton an avid collector of medical antiques, and has attended the Iditarod Race in Alaska as a volunteer vet.
